USB-C charging is a circuit diagnosis—not just a port swap
An intermittent connection can come from the adapter, receptacle, cracked connector joints or lifted pads. A laptop that detects the charger but will not negotiate or sustain charging can also have a board-side Power Delivery controller, charging IC, protection MOSFET or input-rail fault. We test the relevant path for the exact board before recommending connector or component work.
